Working at Jeantil
Good work starts with good working conditions
Witnessing the transformation of a steel sheet into mechanical parts, seeing one’s own work turn into agricultural machinery leaving our production sites, are among the great professional satisfactions of our employees. Being able to follow the production of our products from A to Z is one of the reasons for our employees’ loyalty, with some having experienced two generations of leadership at Jeantil. Other, more pragmatic reasons reinforce this loyalty.
All career futures are possible here
Close relationships, easy hierarchical access, and employee training to enhance their performance contribute to well-being at work and foster a strong team spirit.
The reasons for the stability of our workforce are more pragmatic than emotional. While the jobs here are varied, the employees who perform them share a common pride in developing valuable skills, ensuring added value and recognition of the quality of our equipment.
This pride is heightened by the opportunity to witness the complete construction process of the machine. This gives meaning to their work. We recognize that the evolution of the company also depends on the professional development of the women and men within it. Therefore, we provide everyone with the opportunity, through training, to perfect their skills and master their profession even better. Some employees have learned a trade here that is key to their advancement and recognition. Nothing is compartmentalized at Jeantil. Our open-mindedness allows for all possible career paths, opens up advancement opportunities, and confirms the quality of our employees’ commitment.
Well-being at work starts with safety at work
Well-being at work starts with safety at work
In the industrial sector, the primary factor of well-being at work is the sense of safety. Therefore, we ensure that every employee can perform their work under the best possible conditions of serenity and trust. For instance, we regularly undertake actions related to handling to limit and reduce physical effort; installing cranes at all necessary stations, mechanical assistance for folding, handling arms, etc.
For each position, we study the issues and identify solutions; we consider production templates that facilitate maneuvers, loading that remains always at a comfortable height… We seek out appropriate assistance tools to achieve the best possible ergonomics. Each week, we have a specific meeting: the “5-minute safety” to inform, raise awareness, identify new safety issues, and provide solutions.
Regarding personal protective equipment, we are attentive to the comfort and safety of each individual; we regularly renew safety shoes and gloves, and since we operate in a noisy environment, we have equipped each employee with earplugs specifically molded to their ear canals.
